While changing the batteries on my Xbone controller, there was an easter egg (I think you’d call it that) in the form of a message on that sticker. If you can’t read it, it says “Hello from Seattle”.

I’ll call it an easter egg, it’s a fun little hidden thing.

Why Seattle and not Redmond?

It should really say “HELLO FROM CHINA” because we all know it was never in Seattle.

I know what I’ll be doing when I get home.

Well if we’re going to go there, it might as well say “Herro from China.”

Considering that I still continue to encounter children on Xbox Live using the Xbox One, I’m going to say it’s because they won’t understand the value of Redmond.

Probably playing on the theme established by Apple.

I remember back when Microsoft tried to compete with Ipod and made the Zune that they had “Hello for Seattle” on the back also. And yes, I had a Zune, it’s was quite terrible actually, I see why they ditched the idea.

I remember the Zune days. It was funny how they thought it was a true iPod competitor.

It was when it first came out, then the Ipod got updated, and the Zune never did. Mine died because I left it in my mom’s car and it spent about 4 nights in sub zero Temps and got destroyed.

I actually REALLY liked it, it was a neat little thing.

Zune HD owner here. I quite like it, and still use it on a near daily basis. It also says “Hello from Seattle” on the side.

I had the cheapest one, designed to compete with the nano, I just never really cared for the whole Zune marketplace thing, it was a bit of a pain.

It was really cool for about a year, then everybody else stared improving things and it didn’t really get much better. I hated having to buy credits to buy songs, it was cumbersome and inconvenient, why couldn’t they just put a price on things?
